Description
The copper impression from the dies used for J-1083, this dime pattern continues the systematic exploration of the modified Seated Liberty concept across multiple compositions. In the Trade Dollar era program, copper strikings often survive in slightly better condition than their silver counterparts because collectors who acquired them recognized their experimental nature and preserved them accordingly.
