The 1869 Half Dime Patterns page groups the half dime pieces dated 1869 in the Reconstruction Era Patterns (1866-1869) series, struck at the Philadelphia Mint from the regular dies in copper, aluminum and nickel (J-692 to J-695). USPatterns.com reports that the Mint also struck complete sets from the regular dies of every denomination, cent through double eagle, in copper, aluminum and nickel for sale to collectors.
