Description
An 1860s Christopher Idler copy of the 1792 Washington Getz Pattern half dollar struck in plain (unsilvered) white metal. White metal copies have a distinctive grayish-white appearance and are typically lighter than copper examples. Idler produced copies in several metals to satisfy collector demand for the famous Getz pattern design.
