Description

An unusual Connecticut copper variety of 1787 with a seated Liberty facing right on the reverse instead of the standard left-facing orientation. This variety is extremely rare and represents an anomalous die combination in the Connecticut copper series. The reversed Liberty orientation makes this one of the most distinctive types in the series.
