Description

A 1786 Connecticut copper with a large head facing right on the obverse. The large head bust is notably more prominent than the small head varieties of the same year. This type represents a different die sinker's work from the small head issues and is part of the diverse range of portrait styles found across the 1786 Connecticut copper series.
