Description
A 1786 Connecticut copper with a draped bust facing left on the obverse. The "draped bust" refers to the classical drapery on the bust's chest, as opposed to the mailed (armored) bust varieties. The reverse shows the standard seated Liberty figure with ET LIB INDE legend. Draped bust types represent the majority of 1786-1788 Connecticut copper production.
