Description
The standard mailed bust left type of 1787, the most common Connecticut copper bust style. The obverse shows an armored bust facing left with AUCTORI CONNEC legend. The seated Liberty reverse carries the ET LIB INDE legend. Multiple die marriages exist for this type, making it the most readily available 1787 Connecticut copper.
