Description
The standard draped bust left type of 1787 Connecticut coppers. The obverse features a classically draped bust facing left, as opposed to the armored (mailed) bust varieties. Multiple die marriages exist with this obverse type. The draped bust style gradually replaced the mailed bust during 1787 production.
