A 1787 Immunis Columbia copper halfpenny with a plain edge, featuring a seated Liberty obverse with the IMMUNIS COLUMBIA legend and an eagle reverse. The 1787 Immunis Columbia pieces are considerably more available than the 1785 patterns and are considered part of the broader family of early American experimental copper coinage. The plain edge is the more common edge type for this issue.
