Description

A later reproduction of the 1785 Immune Columbia copper halfpenny made by F.S. Edwards, a well-known 19th-century manufacturer of coin copies and reproductions. While not an original colonial issue, the Edwards copy is itself collectible as a numismatic curiosity. Edwards produced copies of many rare American colonial coins during the mid-1800s to satisfy collector demand.
