A 1786 Connecticut copper featuring a small head bust right on the obverse with the legend AUCTORI CONNEC. The reverse reads ET LIB INDE (short for Et Libertatem et Independentiam, meaning "Authority of Connecticut" and "Both Liberty and Independence"). This variety belongs to the small head group which uses a notably smaller portrait punch than other 1786 issues.
