Description

A bronze (AE) striking of the Civic Procession Medal (GW-130), the standard issue from circa 1858. The Civic Procession Medal is one of the most popular Washington medals, commemorating the inaugural procession of April 30, 1789. The obverse features Washington's bust and the reverse shows the civic procession. This bronze version is the most commonly encountered composition for this medal.
