The (c.1858) Medal GW-130-R2 Brass - 2nd Restrike Civic Procession is filed under Washington Medals (Miscellaneous) in the Washington Pieces (1783-1800) series. This group holds Washington medals, counterstamps and replicas of many dates and makers that have no group of their own in the tree. Each page names its catalogue numbers; most were made long after 1800. Baker says the dies of the 1832 Philadelphia civic procession medal were still in use, and that later copper, bronze, brass and tin impressions show a badly cracked reverse (Baker 160). It is catalogued as Musante GW-130-R2, Baker-160. PCGS lists it as #826583.
