Roosevelt Dime - Unknown Date - 198X Atypical Die Clash ADC-10c-198XP-01

Description

ADC-10c-198XP-01 is an atypical die clash on a Roosevelt dime whose date cannot be read, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. MDC places it somewhere in 1981-1985 and gives it a temporary listing, to be moved if another example turns up that pins down the date. Both sides carry strong clash marks. The date area is weakly struck; MDC suspects a planchet error, since the matching part of the reverse is also weak, but cannot tell whether damage on the obverse happened before or after the strike. The die was found by Tricia Filbin-Martinez.
