Description
ADC-100c-2009D-01(JT) is an atypical die clash on a 2009-D John Tyler Presidential dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The clash marks on both dies are moderately strong and unabraded. The coin was found by Alex Ness, a YN (young numismatist). MDC gives an overlay showing the relative position of the dies at the clash. On the obverse die, marks came from Liberty's crown, hair and robe. On the reverse, Tyler's ear and jacket collar left clash marks, with a further mark from the collar shown separately, and the mark beneath Liberty's chin came from Tyler's right eye.
