Description

ADC-100c-1980S-01 is an atypical die clash on a 1980-S Susan B. Anthony dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Both dies clashed, and the marks were never polished off. On the obverse, the upper right wing of the eagle and the Earth each left a clash mark, and the eagle's lower left wing left a smaller one. On the reverse, Anthony's profile shows from the lunar surface to the lower part of the eagle's left wing, and her collar and neck cut across the Earth. The coin Mad Die Clashes illustrates came from Robert Kirkland of Florida.
