Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub DoublingClass VIII doubling shows on the left side of the letters ICEL of MONTICELLO; inside the large semicircular window, on the lower left portions of the four columns and in the upper right corner of the center door. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge above Jefferson's right eye. Reverse: Die gouge above T of CENTS; die gouge on bottom portion of the triangle above the center steps.
