Description

Unusually large, rectangular feature under the first diamond behind Zitkala-Sa's head. Die Markers: Obverse: Slight doubling in the lower hair detail. Die crack across the edge of the nose. Die gouge left of the top of the mintmark P. Die gouge in the hair below the L in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die chip on the bottom of the right concho. Die gouge above the R in AUTHOR. Die gouge near the rim above the T in UNITED. Die gouge at the rim below the first A in ZITKALA. Die gouge left of the E in EPU. Die gouge between the tops of the M and E in AMERICA. Die gouge touches the third ray. Die gouge touches the eighth ray.
