Description

Extreme spread to the northeast on the NE in ONE, the CE in CENT, EPU, the B in the designer's initials LB, and the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th vertical stripes of the shield. A second strong spread to the S at the top of the 5th, 7th, and 9th vertical stripes of the shield. Die Markers: Obverse: Small die gouge above the right side of the last 2 in the date. Small die gouge left of the G in GOD. Reverse: Die chips on the top left edge of the shield above the P in PLURIBUS. Small die gouge left of the I in UNITED. Small die gouge left of the bottom of the first A in AMERICA.
