Description
2020 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2020 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows moderate extra thickness. The Y is considerably thicker at its upper right than at its upper left, and the ERTY is notched at its lower left corners. On the obverse, a small gouge lies under the E of LIBERTY on its right side, and small gouges lie at the second 2 of the date, one just left of its lower part and one under its lower right side. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Leonard Matyjasik submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
