Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub DoublingClass VIII doubling shows below the upper left portion and along the left edge of the door frame on the center door above the steps. Die Markers: Obverse: Two slanted die scratches in field to upper right of Jefferson's forehead. Reverse: Die gouge to lower right of second L of MONTICELLO; slanted die scratch below first U of PLURIBUS; die scratch extending from lower portion of S of PLURIBUS to first U of UNUM.
