Description
2019 WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Both sets of designer's initials show moderate doubling. Wexler notes that the obverse is itself a doubled die, listed as 2019 WDDO-008: the letters of LIBERTY show extra thickness, with the Y thicker at its upper left than at its upper right, and a small gouge sits inside the upper part of that Y. On the reverse, a chip sits on the shield's top left, above the P of PLURIBUS. Chris Hurley submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
