Description
2017-P WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 2017-P Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show moderate extra thickness, and the date and WE TRUST show extra thickness too. On the obverse, one small gouge (dot) lies below the B of LIBERTY on its left side, and another lies just left of the P mint mark, near its top. On the reverse, a chip sits on the shield's top left, above the first U of PLURIBUS. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler calls this a replacement listing; the first WDDO-006 proved to come from the doubled working hub now listed as WWHO-001.
