Description
2017-P WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the 2017-P Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show moderate extra thickness, and the Y is considerably thicker at its upper left than at its upper right. The date shows extra thickness as well. On the obverse, light scratches run SE from two places: the front of the throat, and under the chin toward its back. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Christopher Rhodes submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
