Description
Doubling shows as two extra stones at the top of the cellar window.Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous small die gouges around the ear. Weak NW/SE die scratch through the right arm of the Y in LIBERTY. Die scratch extends SE from the top right side of the first T in STATES. Small die gouge left of the top of the first A in AMERICA. Reverse: Thin N/S die scratch above the bridge's railing.Submitted By: George W. Obverse: Die chip on the bust above the last R in QUARTER. Large die gouge in the D in GOD. Two die gouges between the F in OF and the first A in AMERICA. Die gouge above the left side of the E in LIBERTY. Die gouge right of the bottom of the I in LIBERTY. Die gouge above the right side of the last T in STATES. Die gouge right of the top of the M in AMERICA. Die gouge left of the C in AMERICA. Reverse: Die chip at the bottom of the left roof. Pre-die break depression on left roof. Die chip in the upper opening of the R in the designer's initials RG. Die chip in the farthest left branches above the roof. Die gouges between the branches right of the mill.
