Seventh among the doubled die reverses documented for the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways Quarter, WDDR-007 (Wexler reference: 2017-P 25c MO WDDR-007) sits in the early-to-middle portion of the DDR catalog for this Missouri design — a position that often corresponds to varieties discovered relatively early in the survey process or those with moderately prominent doubling characteristics. The Ozark Riverways reverse depicts a paddler on one of Missouri's spring-fed rivers, surrounded by the towering dolomite bluffs and hardwood forests that define the Ozark landscape. Sculpted by Joseph Menna from Ronald D. Sanders' design, the reverse includes geological textures — stratified rock layers, water surface patterns, tree canopy edges — that serve as productive diagnostic zones for detecting hub displacement. No additional cross-references beyond the Wexler system are known for WDDR-007.
