2016 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-018
Error
Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the second, third, and fourth windows from the left in the bottom row and in the second, third, and fourth windows from the left in the second row from the bottom. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A pre-die crack depression runs across the right side of the base of the bust running above the designer’s initials. Die gouge between the E and R in QUARTER. Obverse Stage B: Stage A die gouge may or may not be present. A die crack runs across the right side of the base of the bust running above the designer’s initials. Reverse Stage A: Multiple short, evenly spread die gouges extend E from the right side of the left roof. Thin die scratch extends S from the W in BROWN. Reverse Stage B: Stage A gouges still present. Stage A scratch may or may not be present. A die break can be found on the right side of the roof on the left side of the building.
