Description
Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the second and third windows from the left in the bottom row and in the third window from the left in the second row from the bottom. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: Die gouges between the L and A in DOLLAR. Die gouge between the I and C in AMERICA. Die gouge left of the bottom of the first A in AMERICA. Die gouge left of the bottom of the first S in STATES. These Stage B die gouges may or may not be present in earlier die stages. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Die chip on top of the guard tower. Retained die break and small die chip on the right side of the left roof. Small die gouge left of the bottom of the F in FORT.
