Description
2016-P WV WDDR-036 is a doubled die reverse on the 2016-P Harpers Ferry National Historical Park quarter (West Virginia) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling lies in the windows of the arch over the central doorway: windows 3 and 4, counting from the left, in both the bottom row and the row second from the bottom. Obverse markers: a gouge at the lower right inside of QUARTER's A; a gouge left of DOLLAR's O; and a small gouge inside UNITED's U. On the reverse, a small gouge sits at the top of the first doorway. Alfonso Lopez submitted the variety; the additional photos show a coin sent in by Aaron Laramee. Wexler lists no cross-references.
