Description

Doubling shows in the windows in the arch above the center doorway. It shows in the fourth window from the left in the bottom row and extends slightly below that window. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge right of the L in LIBERTY. Die gouge below the A in QUARTER. Die gouge left of the last R in QUARTER. Die gouge above the mintmark P. Die gouge near the head below the E in STATES. Large die gouge left of the E in AMERICA. Reverse: Long die scratch from the designer's initials TRH to the O in JOHN. Die gouge below the left side of the H in JOHN. Die gouge above the third barrel.
