Description
2015 WDDO-031 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, and the Y's top right branch is much thicker than its top left branch. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, a die break sits on the shield's top left above the P of PLURIBUS, and a gouge lies just over the U in UNITED, on its left side. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
