Description
2015 WDDO-028 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, with notches at the lower left of the ERTY. On the obverse, a small gouge touches the top of the 0 in the date. On the reverse, one chip sits on the shield's top left, above the first U in PLURIBUS, and another sits on the band below the R of PLURIBUS. Tanner Scott submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
