Description
2015 WDDO-021 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show extra thickness, with notches at the lower left of the ERTY. On the obverse, a NW/SE pre-die crack depression crosses the top of the forehead. On the reverse, a short vertical gouge sits at the rim over the first A in AMERICA, and a crack follows the shield's top left, with a large die break above the L of PLURIBUS. Dustin Ickow submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
