Description
2015 WDDO-019 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show extra thickness, with notches at the lower left of the ERTY. Obverse markers: two small gouges below the date's 2; a N/S crack crossing the hair at the back of the head, with a chip west of the ear, near its top; and a crack from the front of the eyebrow running NW through the forehead's front. Reverse markers: a small gouge just under the U in UNITED; a small gouge between the M and E of AMERICA; and a crack along the shield's top left, with a chip above the P of PLURIBUS. James Fines submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
