Description
2015 WDDO-016 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show extra thickness, strongest on the ERTY. On the obverse, a SW/NE crack crosses the hair high on the head and continues into the field, ending to the right of WE's E, at its bottom. On the reverse, a crack follows the shield's top left, with chips above the LUR of PLURIBUS. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
