Description
2015 WDDO-015 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, with notches at the lower left of the ERTY; the T is also notched at its upper left. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies south of the 20 in the date, and from the top of the chin a scratch heads NE. On the reverse, a short crack follows the shield's top left, above the UR of PLURIBUS. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
