Description
2015 WDDO-011 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, with notches at the lower left of the ERTY; the T is also notched at its upper left. On the obverse, a small gouge lies right of the N of IN, near its top, and a crack leaves the front of the eyebrow and runs NNW through the forehead's front. On the reverse, chips lie on the shield's top left, above the UR of PLURIBUS. Richard Ray submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
