Description
2015 WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the 2015 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, with notches at the lower right of the ERTY. The 20 of the date shows light extra thickness. Wexler notes no obverse markers. The reverse has three cracks: one along the shield's top left, above E PLU; one from the right curl of the banner to the second A in AMERICA; and one from the banner's left curl to the O in ONE, at its bottom. Chris Freda submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
