The 2014 (W) Proof Gold JFK 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar is a proof half dollar struck at the West Point Mint, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars 50th Anniversary 2014 series. The U.S. Mint produced 73,772 examples. The obverse features John F. Kennedy facing left, based on the presidential medal by Gilroy Roberts, while the reverse displays the Presidential Seal — a heraldic eagle with shield, olive branch, and arrows. Designed by Gilroy Roberts/Frank Gasparro. Struck in 99.99% gold, weighing 23.33 grams, 30.61 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #530185.
