The 2014 (D) Kennedy Half Dollar - 50th Anniversary Unc Set is a special strike half dollar struck at the Denver Mint, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars 50th Anniversary 2014 series. The U.S. Mint produced 197,608 examples. The obverse features John F. Kennedy facing left, based on the presidential medal by Gilroy Roberts, while the reverse displays the Presidential Seal — a heraldic eagle with shield, olive branch, and arrows. Designed by Gilroy Roberts/Frank Gasparro. Struck in 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper center, weighing 11.3 grams, 30.61 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #530183.
