Description
2014 WDDO-011 is a doubled die obverse on the 2014 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows light extra thickness, and the ERTY letters are notched at the bottom left. Obverse markers: a gouge SW of the I in IN; a chip on a crack that crosses the upper hair, located between GOD and WE; and a chip in the hair over the front of the forehead. On the reverse, a crack crosses the top left of the shield, and there is a small chip north of PLURIBUS's first U. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
