Description
2014 WDDO-009 is a doubled die obverse on the 2014 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows moderate extra thickness. On the obverse, a light scratch connects the top of the chin with the upper lip, and a small chip sits at the base of the T in LIBERTY. On the reverse, a crack crosses the top left of the shield with chips above the PLU of PLURIBUS, and north of the E in CENT a gouge cuts through the stripe's bottom. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
