Description
2014 WDDO-008 is a doubled die obverse on the 2014 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The date shows light extra thickness. On the obverse, a small gouge lies south of LIBERTY's L, and from the bottom of the 0 in the date a short crack runs SSW. On the reverse, a crack crosses the top left of the shield, a chip sits above the I of PLURIBUS, and a small gouge lies below the I in AMERICA. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
