Description
2014 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2014 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows extra thickness, and the date shows a little. Notches mark the top left of the T and the Y in LIBERTY. On the obverse, running NW from the front of the eyebrow, there is a short pre-die crack depression. On the reverse, a strong scratch cuts through the tops of the STA in STATES. Joseph Koelling submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
