Description
2012 WDDO-010 is a doubled die obverse on the 2012 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows strong extra thickness. Obverse markers: a small gouge (dot) right of the second T of TRUST, and a scratch heading south from the R of LIBERTY, starting at its bottom left. Reverse markers: a crack along the upper left edge of the shield, and a chip on the shield's top above the P of PLURIBUS. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
