Description
2012 WDDO-009 is a doubled die obverse on a 2012 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY and the date show moderate extra thickness. The ERTY letters are notched at the lower left, and so is the 1 of the date. Wexler notes no significant obverse markers. On the reverse, over the second A in AMERICA, toward its right side, a strong die dent reaches in from the rim. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
