Description
2012 WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 2012 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows strong extra thickness. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies below the I of LIBERTY. On the reverse, a crack follows the upper left edge of the shield, and two chips sit on the shield's top: a small one above the P of PLURIBUS and a large one above its R. Stephen Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
