Description
2012 WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the 2012 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows moderate extra thickness, above all on the ERTY. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) sits low between the 1 and the 2 of the date. On the reverse, north of the PL in PLURIBUS, a crack follows the shield's top edge on the left. Scott Beatty submitted the variety. Its Coppercoins number is 2012P-1DO-006.
