Description
2012 WDDO-003 is an obverse doubled die on the 2012 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The date shows extra thickness. On the obverse, a small chip sits on the 1 in the date, at its lower right. On the reverse, a small gouge lies below the first A in AMERICA; a crack goes ENE from the top of the L in PLURIBUS; and a gouge crosses the UN of UNUM from SW to NE. Joseph Koelling submitted the variety. Its Coppercoins number is 2012P-1DO-004.
