2010 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent - Typical Die Clash TDC-1C-2010-01

Description

TDC-1c-2010-01 is a typical die clash on a 2010-P Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Most of the clash remnants on the obverse were abraded off. What remains: pieces of UN from UNUM right in front of and behind Lincoln's tie, shield stripes in front of his mouth, on the neck just over the collar, and behind the neck opposite the Y of LIBERTY, and a mark in front of the hair that looks like the side of the shield crossing the banner. On the reverse, a small part of the underside of Lincoln's nose and a small trace of the back of his neck appear inside the shield. The obverse also has many circular, distinctive scratches, and several strong cracks run down through Lincoln's hair. The coin is courtesy of Cameron DeLillo.
